Established in 1981, The Fruit & Vegetable Producers, Processors and Exporters Association of Sri Lanka is the apex body for promoting and exporting the Island’s agricultural produce to the World Market.
Supported by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB), the Association now comprises over 50 active members who proactively involve the Association on matters pertaining to the Industry.
Background
Gifted by the British and carried forward by our ancestors; the Tea, Rubber and Coconut industries continue their supremacy as Sri Lanka’s premier export crops for decades. Our Objective
Our prime objective is the pursuit of excellence for our Industry in the eyes of the World Market, in respect of both quality and competitiveness. Thereby we have introduced various educational programmes and other incentives to the local farmer community with the hope of harnessing a superior produce.
