1.Association Membership is open for Commercial Producers, Processors and Exporters of Fruits & Vegetables in Sri Lanka.

2.In close liaison with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board, the Association conducts workshops, seminars, etc in various provinces of the country. These programmes aim to create awareness on modern technology and market characteristics, among the Association members as well as the farming community.

3.The Association actively participates in numerous Industry related overseas programmes and promotional activities, which have successfully opened up new market opportunities for its members.

4.Over the years the Association has accumulated and maintained a wide range of updated information about the Industry that is made available on request. Therefore members have access to a comprehensive database comprising data on growers, suppliers, transporters, packaging institutions, processors and on exporters of fruits, vegetables and root crops. The Association’s Secretariat is housed at the Export Trade Centre, Colombo.
